  • Concept Development and Art Direction: I designed the ad to reflect Lululemon's vibrant brand identity, choosing bold typography and bright color schemes to align with their reputation for eye-catching, colorful products. I ensured the visual elements would seamlessly transition into an Instagram ad format.

  • Copywriting: I crafted compelling copy for the ad, focusing on the words "revive, rethink, and rediscover" to mirror the language Lululemon uses for their sustainability programs. This copy highlights both the high quality of the products and the environmental benefits of the Like New initiative.

  • Design Execution: I formatted the entire layout, including the selection of Lululemon apparel imagery, typography choices, and overall composition, to ensure the ad would effectively communicate the message and resonate with the brand’s target audience.

Brief: How can we promote Lululemon's "Like New" sustainability initiative while staying true to the brand’s vibrant, performance-focused image and connecting with eco-conscious consumers?

  • For this individual project, the task was to design a static print advertisement for a brand that could be repurposed as an Instagram post. The advertisement needed to include compelling copy, a caption, and visually appealing elements, with careful attention to theme, color, typography, and layout. I chose Lululemon so my objective was to highlight Lululemon’s Like New program, which promotes sustainability by allowing customers to trade in gently used items for store credit. My challenge was to create an ad that clearly and creatively conveyed the brand’s values and initiatives, while staying true to Lululemon’s distinctive visual and messaging style.
