Concept Development: I helped originate the idea for "Spotify Memories," a feature that allows users to associate songs with personal photos and create memory albums, designed to evoke nostalgia and enhance happiness.
UX/UI Ideation: I contributed creative ideas for the look and feel of the user interface, collaborating with our team to envision how users would interact with the "Spotify Memories" widget.
Scriptwriting: I developed the full script for our video submission and worked closely with the team to create a second-by-second storyboard that reflected the user journey and emphasized the emotional impact of the feature.
Brief: How can Spotify spread positivity by using technology to bring listeners closer to the creators and communities they love?
As the leading global audio streaming platform, Spotify sought innovative ways to amplify the positive impact of their service on their users’ mental health, enhance community building, and strengthen the relationship between creators and listeners. The goal was to develop an innovative idea that leverages Spotify’s technological capabilities—such as artificial intelligence and first-party data—to deepen listener engagement and bring joy to more users worldwide. The concept also needed to include new opportunities for advertisers while supporting Spotify’s core mission of connecting people through audio. Key priorities were mental health, diversity, and accessibility.
